REFLECTION WEEK -3

             On the third week of teaching practice I completed four lesson plans. By this week I completed one the unit Towards the Gangetic plain and conducted a diagnostic test to recognize the learning problems of the students. Every afternoon we served meal to the students as a part of mid day meal programme.


ABOUT MY CLASS

               On this week I completed a unit and started the new one. The lessons I taught were Mahajanapadas, Foreign Relations, and  Maurya dynasty, Saptanga theory from the new unit. I used outline map of India to locate Mahajanapadas and give them map to locate. At the end of the unit I presented a flow chart representing the whole main points of the unit. I started a new unit From Magadha to Thaneswar. The first lesson Maurya dynasty was ICT model lesson plan. It proved very effective among students.

REFLECTION WEEK- 2

             This was the second week of the teaching practice. The last week was a very new experience to me. In this week I completed only three lesson plans because of some holidays. I got some substitution periods in UP classes. I engaged them by giving some games and word puzzles. I got a chance to observe Serah's class who is also form my optional. Her class was very informative as I was able to see many techniques  that she used to manage the class.

ABOUT MY CLASS

             I completed three lesson plans this week. Rise of cities and formation of new ideas, Buddhism, Jainism were the lessons I took. I explained the rise of cities by explaining the factors that led to it's rise and the background for the formaionf of new thoughts. REFLECTION WEEK - 1

                It was the first week of the second phase teaching practice. I was very glad to know that the class allotted me to teach is 8 .K division which I had got in previous teaching practice phase. Students were very welcoming. In this week I was able to complete only three lesson plans because of there was no class for two days. The lessons I covered were Migration of Aryans, Life of Aryans, Migration of Aryans to Gangetic plain. Students celebrated children's day on 14th November. On the same day on the behalf of excise department bof Kerala 'Lahari vimuktha Dinam' was conducted




ABOUT MY CLASS

                  I was able to complete my lesson plans according to my preparations. As it was the first week I was little bit nervous.  The unit I  started was Towards the Gangetic Plain. I completed three lesson plan. I presented a video on migration of Aryans which was very interesting to students.

TEACHING PRACTICE: 2nd PHASE
Teaching practice weekly report (11th Nov- 15th Nov 2019)

             The second phase of our teaching practice had started on 11th November. I got Mount Tabor G.H.S, Pathanapuram for practice. Before going to the school for teaching practice me and my classmate went to the school to meet Headmaster so that we can get our portion. On reaching school we got to know that we had the same class and same teachers that we had before in previous teaching practice phase. O got 8th standard for teaching. Students were very active and obedient. Though the chChristm exam is approaching soon I started the lesson. I started the lesson 
' Towards the Gangetic Plains'.
