REFLECTION WEEK- 7

          It was the last week of our teaching practice. I completed almost all my portions and survey of the projects on these days. It was a great experience for me throughout the teaching practice phase. These days give me a golden opportunity for me to improve myself. These days helped me to identify my fault and strength. These days make me more punctual, responsible and patient towards life. Really it was a great experience.

        I conducted health education class in VIII.K. I also conducted concentization class in same class.

ABOUT MY CLASS

            I Completed 6 lesson plans in VIII.K and one lesson plan in IX C. I n these week I took the class based on some models. They are concept attainment model, group investigation and advance organizer model. I used the help of black board, activity cards and videos as teaching aids.

HEALTH EDUCATION CLASS

    

               I conducted health education class in VIII.K. I took the class on the topic "First Aid". I used charts and videos as teaching aids.

         

  CONCENTIZATION CLASS

               I   I took concentization class on the topic "Child Right" which was one of the important right that our children should aware of. I took the class used charts and videos as teaching aids. I explained many situation that our children's are deprived of their rights. YOGA CLASS

                 As per B.Ed curriculum it is mandatory to conduct an yoga class. For teaching various asanas of yoga I choose students of 8K. I taught them Thrikonasana. I started the yoga class by arranging the students in in correct formation. After conducting yoga I also engage them in small play activities. Students were very happy along with that they also understood the benefits of yoga for maintaining a good health.

    

       

   

REFLECTION WEEK-6
           
   
               It was the sixth week of the teaching practice. I completed five lesson plans from the unit Blanket of the Earth. The chapter was very informative which arises the issues of environmental degradation, green house gas effects and provides space to children to think and suggest remedial measures for it. In this week I took many classes in discussion method. Students suggested many remedial measures to protect our planet.


ABOUT MY CLASS

            Five lesson plans were completed on this week. The topics were water in atmosphere, atmosphere as a greenhouse, changing atmospheric condition, Ozone as an umbrella for Earth, structure of the . I presented two innovative work on these lessons one from structure of the atmosphere and one from save the Earth. I also presented recent video of Greta Thunberg who was a young environmental actvists, who was delivering an emotional speech at United Nations Climate Action summitt.She was blaming all the developed countries for degrading environment. REFLECTION WEEK-5

              After the Christmas vacation again we reached to the school foe teaching practice. It was the fifth week of our teaching practice. On this week I completed one unit and started a new unit. Each day in the school was very different to me. I was able to study many things from that environment. I tried my best to improve my classes by adopting different methods. Each day was a new lesson to me


ABOUT MY CLASS

                On this week I completed only two lesson plans because there was no sufficient class due to educational strike. The topic I covered was life of people under Gupta dynasty and Atmospheric composition which was the beginning of a new unit. As I concluded a unit I revised the topic by asking questions. Students actively said answers to all questions I asked. As the next unit was from geography I had to prepare more. To teach the topic atmospheric composition I presented a chart that shows the atmospheric gases and it's volume in atmosphere.

REFLECTION WEEK- 4

                  I have successfully completed  17 days of teaching practice . The Christmas exam are going to begin from the 9th December. I had got so many experience from the school and it's environment. I completed the portions before the Christmas exam that have assigned to me. On this week I have completed five lesson plans. I conducted Achievement test in 8k class. The marks achieved by them was satisfactory. I got substitution periods in UP classes.


ABOUT MY CLASS

                I completed five lesson plans. In 8k I taught the lessons Ashoka and Dhamma, social and economic life, India after Mauryas, The Shathavahanas, The Age of Guptas. I taught them using the help of some charts and pictures

REFLECTION WEEK -3

             On the third week of teaching practice I completed four lesson plans. By this week I completed one the unit Towards the Gangetic plain and conducted a diagnostic test to recognize the learning problems of the students. Every afternoon we served meal to the students as a part of mid day meal programme.


ABOUT MY CLASS

               On this week I completed a unit and started the new one. The lessons I taught were Mahajanapadas, Foreign Relations, and  Maurya dynasty, Saptanga theory from the new unit. I used outline map of India to locate Mahajanapadas and give them map to locate. At the end of the unit I presented a flow chart representing the whole main points of the unit. I started a new unit From Magadha to Thaneswar. The first lesson Maurya dynasty was ICT model lesson plan. It proved very effective among students.

                  

REFLECTION WEEK- 2

             This was the second week of the teaching practice. The last week was a very new experience to me. In this week I completed only three lesson plans because of some holidays. I got some substitution periods in UP classes. I engaged them by giving some games and word puzzles. I got a chance to observe Serah's class who is also form my optional. Her class was very informative as I was able to see many techniques  that she used to manage the class.

ABOUT MY CLASS

             I completed three lesson plans this week. Rise of cities and formation of new ideas, Buddhism, Jainism were the lessons I took. I explained the rise of cities by explaining the factors that led to it's rise and the background for the formaionf of new thoughts. REFLECTION WEEK - 1

                It was the first week of the second phase teaching practice. I was very glad to know that the class allotted me to teach is 8 .K division which I had got in previous teaching practice phase. Students were very welcoming. In this week I was able to complete only three lesson plans because of there was no class for two days. The lessons I covered were Migration of Aryans, Life of Aryans, Migration of Aryans to Gangetic plain. Students celebrated children's day on 14th November. On the same day on the behalf of excise department bof Kerala 'Lahari vimuktha Dinam' was conducted

ABOUT MY CLASS

                  I was able to complete my lesson plans according to my preparations. As it was the first week I was little bit nervous.  The unit I  started was Towards the Gangetic Plain. I completed three lesson plan. I presented a video on migration of Aryans which was very interesting to students.
